SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: The Department of Registration and Elections requests approval to increase spending authority under a statewide contract to provide rental of box trucks, passenger vehicles and cargo vans for the November General, Nonpartisan General and Special Election and December General, Nonpartisan General and Special Election Runoff, if necessary. This request for the spending authority increase is necessary because the initial rates provided did not include the vehicle license fees and therefore the monthly rates that the County is being invoiced must be included
