Request approval to utilize cooperative purchasing - Department of Real Estate and Asset Management, OMNIA Partners Contract #EV2516, Elevator and Escalator Maintenance and Services in the amount not to exceed $1,612,050.00 with KONE, Inc. (Marietta, GA), to provide turnkey Elevator Modernization for the 7 hydraulic elevators at Judge Romae T. Powell Juvenile Justice Center, which includes replacing the existing equipment to ensure continued reliable operation and support the essential services offered at 395 Pryor Street, SW, Atlanta, GA 30312. This request includes a maintenance warranty and a 10% Owner-Controlled Contingency. Effective upon issuance of Notice to Proceed for 365 calendar days or completion of project as determined by the County.

REQUIREMENT FOR BOARD ACTION (Cite specific Board policy, statute or code requirement)
In accordance with Purchasing Code Section 102-456 and 102-462, requests for approval to utilize cooperative purchasing or GSA purchase contracts or contracts established by a public procurement unit of more than $100,000 shall be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners for approval.
