Request approval to enter into Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with Atlanta Public Schools, a governmental authority who is authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. It is desirable to have a unified system to include entities on the County System who affect and further the goal of protecting the citizens of the City of Atlanta and Fulton County's health, safety, and welfare, and provides public safety services to the citizens and visitors of Atlanta Public Schools in Fulton County.
Atlanta Public Schools will pay Fulton County $233.00 per the number of transportation radio units of 292 for the fiscal years 2022 and 2023, which equals an annual cost of $68,036.00. The pro rata share for the fiscal years 2024 and 2025 will increase by approximately 6% to $247.00 times the number of transportation radio units 292, which equals an annual cost of $72,124.00.
