Request approval to enter a contract with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities for the acceptance of $9,481,532.00 in grant funding for the planning and design of the Behavioral Health Crisis Center in North Fulton for a contract term July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. To protect the interests of the County, the County Attorney is authorized to approve the final terms of the contract as to legal form and make modifications to the contract, including correcting scrivener's errors, before execution. The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is awarding $9,481,532 to the Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities for the future adult crisis services provider, to provide crisis services in a 24-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) and an adjacent 16 bed/chair Temporary Observation Unit (TOU) and Crisis Service Center (CSC).
