SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection is the main component of tertiary treatment used at the Camp Creek Water Reclamation Facility. The purpose of this stage of treatment is to kill any remaining viruses in the treated wastewater effluent before its release into Camp Creek and the Chattahoochee River. Having a properly functioning UV system is vital to the facility's operation and is a requirement of existing state permits and federal guidelines. The current UV System has reached the end of its useful design life and is no longer cost effective to operate.

Scope of Work: This project involves the replacement of the existing UV System at the Camp Creek WRF as well as providing upgrades to the channels, flow control, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
