Request approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Cobb County Sheriff's Office and the Fulton County Sheriff's Office for the housing of up to five hundred (500) Fulton County inmates at the Cobb County Jail located at 1825 County Services Parkway, Marietta, Georgia. Inmates will be housed at a rate of $80.00 per inmate in amount not to exceed $7,360,000.00 to be paid to the Cobb County Sheriff's Office. Effective for a period of no more than six (6) months upon BOC approval. (APPROVED)

Scope of Work: The proposed agreement with Cobb County will allow the Fulton County Sheriff's Office with the ability to utilize an alternate correctional facility on a temporary basis due to overcrowding at the Fulton County Jail Facility. Cobb County will house up to five hundred (500) inmates at a rate of $80 per day.
