Summary & Background: The Department of Senior Services recommends approval. This contract supports the Senior Surge project funded through capital dollars to improve infrastructure needs and modernize systems in the three (3) facility-based programs operated by the Department of Senior Services - Multipurpose, Neighborhood Senior Centers and Adult Day. The surge of County resources enables a collaborative team from Senior Services, DREAM, and IT to execute critical projects in these programs.
Scope of Work: This contract provides kitchen equipment for Adult Day Health, Neighborhood Senior and Multipurpose Senior facilities used to support vital operations required for serving food in Fulton County senior centers. The scope of work will be conducted at 18 County facilities and entails the purchase, installation, and removal of kitchen equipment.
Community Impact: Provide quality kitchen equipment and promote wellness and healthy lifestyles for Fulton County senior citizens.
