Request approval of a Resolution directing the Fulton County Urban Redevelopment Agency to administratively reprogram certain proceeds of the Facilities Improvement Revenue Bonds, Series 2017 and Series 2019, for the improvement and renovation of the animal shelter project; to authorize the County Attorney to make modifications to the form of documents effectuating this action as necessary to protect the County's interests; and for other related matters and purposes. Scope of Work After consultation with representatives of the County's Department of Real Estate and Asset Management, Finance Department and the County Attorney's Office and bond counsel, the County has determined to reprogram the Surplus 2017/2019 FCURA Funds and memorialize the reprioritization of the animal shelter, as identified in the Facility Improvement Master Plan and the urban redevelopment plan. This will administratively reprogram available funding for the completion of an Animal Control Facility (Animal Shelter) and reallocate the surplus of the 2017 and 2019 FCURA funds, in full, to the Animal Shelter Project.
Community Impact: Will redirect available funds to necessary efforts to complete the Animal Shelter facility.
