Request approval of a contract with The Networked Planet, LLC located in St. Petersburg, Florida for website development and maintenance pursuant to the Ryan White Part A Program and the Ending the HIV Epidemic Funding for services to be provided in Grant Year 2023 and Grant Year 2024 in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00 in Grant Year 2023 and $8,000.00 in Grant Year 2024. There is no required County match and the project is 100% grant funded. Request authorization for the Chairman to execute contract with selected subrecipient. To protect the interest of the County, the County Attorney is authorized to approve the contracts as to form and substance and make any necessary modifications thereto prior to execution by the Chair. Effective March 1, 2023. (APPROVED UPON ADOPTION OF THE CONSENT AGENDA)

Scope of Work: The Department for HIV Elimination recommends approval of a two-year contract with The Networked Planet, LLC for development of a website and ongoing maintenance of the website. Fulton County administers the Ryan White Program on behalf of itself and 19 other counties and administers the Ending the HIV Epidemic Program on behalf of itself and 3 other counties. The Department for HIV Elimination currently has an existing website www.ryanwhiteatl.org <http://www.ryanwhiteatl.org> which is outdated and has plug-ins that are no longer supported by the creators. The website will be rebranded as www.endhivatl.org <http://www.endhivatl.org> upon completion of the new website to reflect the commitment to get to no new cases of HIV in Metropolitan Atlanta. The website serves as a tool to: increase transparency; provide information to clients, subrecipients and the general public; link citizens to services; share policies and procedures and grant requirements; and, provide information on the Metropolitan Atlanta HIV Health Services Planning Council. The Networked Planet, LLC will provide website development and maintenance to include: creating an account with WPEngine; setting up a staging site and installing a theme; recreating the home page with same elements as the current website; development of simple pages with content, image and links; development of pages with accordion content and sliders; inclusion of services and reports using Woocommerce; and, development of an updated calendar page.
Community Impact: The website will provide useful information to the public, subrecipients, and clients regarding programs and services administered by the Department for HIV Elimination.
