SUMMARY & BACKGROUND Request approval to amend ESG CARES Act contracts approved by the BOC on October 19, 2022 (Agenda Item # 22-0762), to increase CARES Act award allocations to the following non-profit agencies: Community Assistance Center ($6,258), HOSEA Feed the Hungry & Homeless ($6,258), Poverty 2 Prosperity ($6,258), and Society of Saint Vincent DePaul ($6,258.22)). Total award amount is $25,032.22.
ESG-CV funds must be used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus among individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance and to support additional homeless assistance and homelessness prevention activities to mitigate the impacts created by coronavirus.
