Request approval of a change order less than 10% - Department of Public Works, 20ITB126798K-JAJ, ARFF, Phase II, in an amount not to exceed $174,570.36 with Trident Construction Group (Atlanta, GA) to provide for additional rock removal, additional stairway lighting, millwork changes, and fire line additions at the Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Facility at the Fulton County Executive Airport. SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: On August 18, 2021, the BOC approved a construction award to Trident Construction Group for the renovation of the Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Facility (ARFF) in an amount not to exceed $2,486,000.00.
On April 13, 2022, the Fulton County BOC approved a change order less than 10% (Net $0.00) with Trident Construction Group to amend the Mechanical Specifications and extend the contract duration by 60 days.
