SUMMARY & BACKGROUND
The Consultant will work with the County Manager's Office, the Sheriff's Office and other County staff to conduct Phase 2 of the Jail Feasibility Study.
The following are the overall objectives for Phase 2 for this project:
? Project future spending and operating costs.
? Develop detailed space program.
? Develop site phasing & blocking/stacking diagrams
? Update construction cost estimate.
? Refine finance & delivery options.

Community Impact: The construction of a new jail will allow for upgraded housing, better medical capabilities, and additional space/capability for diversion and rehabilitation programs.
