The May 1, 2024 Soundings request is submitted for your review and approval. Below is a brief summary of each request and related justification.
GENERAL FUND: STRATEGIC PRIORITY AREA: ARTS AND LIBRARIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
* Resolution - (PAGE 3) - Transfer Funding to Select Fulton - $604,564.
A Resolution (24-0212) was adopted to transfer funding from the Department of Arts and Culture-Fulton Films to the Department of Economic Development-Select Fulton. Fulton Films manages filming by private parties on Fulton County owned property and facilities by issuing filming permits & encourages the film industry to conduct filming within Fulton County though sponsorship engagements. The purpose of the transfer will promote economic development and marketing of Fulton County and its assets.
