Select Fulton, the economic and workforce development division for Fulton County, Georgia, seeks a new Urban Redevelopment Plan for the Fulton Industrial Redevelopment Area to promote the revitalization of this deteriorating area. A key component of this revitalization effort includes the establishment of a single new Georgia Opportunity Zone in the district to encourage development, redevelopment and revitalization through job tax credits. The previous Fulton Industrial Opportunity Zone expired December 31st, 2020 and was originally approved using an April 2010 Urban Redevelopment Plan developed by Fulton County.
