SUMMARY & BACKGROUND: The Department of Public Works requests approval to increase spending authority with Wade Coots Company, Inc. (Hiram, GA) to provide Small Water Meter Installation in the North Fulton water service area.
Scope of Work: The contract provides for small water meter installation in the North Fulton water service area. Wade Coots has performed to a level that has met the Department's expectations. The original contract was approved on 02/17/2021, Item # 21-0137 for $300,000,000. The request for additional spending authority is necessary because new small meter installations are an ongoing activity that is fully dependent upon the development and needs of Fulton County water customers.
